Aish Essentials is our flagship introductory Jewish outreach learning experience, exploring major themes in Judaism. Since its inception in 1974, hundreds of thousands of Jews have begun their Jewish journey at Aish Essentials. Jews of all ages and backgrounds drop in for a day, a week or even an hour to join classes free of charge every day at the Aish HaTorah Dan Family World Center opposite the Western Wall. While many stay on for more, one day in Essentials is enough to change a person’s outlook on being Jewish forever.
A unique 3-week learning program in Israel, Aish HaTorah’s women’s learning program is located in the very heart of Jerusalem’s Old City. It’s an incredible opportunity to explore the depth and beauty of Judaism along with other like-minded, passionate women. Jewel is a program of the Aish Malka women’s division.
Aish is training the top tier of leadership to tackle the huge challenge of anti-Israel propaganda which is poisoning campuses everywhere. Aish’s Hasbara Fellowships bring hundreds of students to Israel every year for intensive training in pro-Israel activism to effectively communicate Israel’s message.
Following the trips, Hasbara provides guidance and funding of pro-Israel activism on college campuses. To date, over 3,000 Hasbara Fellows from more than 250 colleges have become strategic thinkers, organizational leaders and innovative advocates for Israel on college campuses. Many continue after their college years to positions of leadership in the Jewish community.
Hundreds of students and groups come to the Aish Yeshiva each year for an in-depth learning experience. The Yeshiva program consists of six tracks: Foundations, Intermediate, Advanced Beis Medrash, Gesher, Semicha and Spanish Program. The Yeshiva offers highly personalized programs from aleph bet through rabbinic ordination. Tens of thousands of people have built their foundations as Jewish teachers, outreach professionals and heads of households during their time at Aish Yeshiva.
