Dear Aish Family,
I am writing to you at the end of our fiscal year. It has been exactly six months since I came on board to Aish HaTorah. It has been a whirlwind of a journey and I am exceptionally thankful to all of you for opening your hearts to me.
I know many of us in the Jewish world have received impassioned pleas to support different organizations over the last week. Firstly, I would like to thank the Aish HaTorah community for raising significant funds for the Biermacher family. We still have more to raise but the over $300,000 so far has given us the right start. I personally have a wallet overflowing with checks that people have handed me at every stop here in America for the Biermacher family. This tragedy has touched the heart of all of Klal Yisroel.
Secondly, I would like to commend and thank the financial team at Aish, our development team and most importantly all of our partners and donors. Aish Jerusalem finished our fiscal year, with not only meeting our financial needs, but having retired a significant amount of debt. Our goals for the coming fiscal year will be even greater and we will work even harder.
Our job is to take responsibility to lead the Jewish nation and to tackle difficult issues. Whether it be spiritual or physical threats, Aish HaTorah will lead the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of our friends and partners for joining with us every day to sanctify the Almighty’s name. Good Shabbos.
